Moda-Tim Internship

Summer 2013

In the summer of 2013 we had the opportunity to have in practice under the project "Moda-Tim Internship Summer 2013" students from the Faculty of Arts and Design within the West University of Timisoara. During the internship project, students Ana Marchetanu, Iolanda Beke and Roxana Ciobanu realized a catalogue with special machines and stitches. Notably, beside the desired result and obtained, were the attitude, devotion and the involvement shown during the course of the entire project.

"Şcoala Altfel"

2013

“Școala altfel” 2014 was certainly otherwise in Moda-Tim. "Know More" about teamwork was the main theme of our activities. We have played and we have learned "to be better" along side 226 students and teachers from secondary schools no. 12, 16, 19 “Step by step” and Waldorf Highschool Timisoara. We have worked in teams, we had leaders and necessary resources, we gaved free rein to imagination and created outstanding helds.

Pattern Making and Grading. Patterns are made using an Assyst CAD system for accurate and fault free patterns and markers.

Sample Manufacturing: through a well equipped sampling section for meeting the required quality and time schedule.

Teams of specialists devoted to every costomer's project.

Sourcing raw-materials for production. Moda-Tim has an in-house laboratory for testing shrinkage, color and rubbing fastness.

Delivery of the ready garments, properly packed, to client's warehouse.

If more than a half century ago the company made raincoats and swimwear, now the company produces clothing for women, with predilection, but also outdoor men`s clothing.

We understand the passion of our customers and we are always up to date with their needs and requirements, more challenging due to the diversity of materials, types of sewing, embroidery and various finishes.

>Moda-Tim has been looking to continuously improve by increasing the number of special machines and devices. Some of these machines and types of stitches and seams that can be done with them are shown in the "Catalogue of machinery and special stitching" of the company.

Companies cutting area has equipment and trained personnel ready to fulfill all customers requirements.

Focusing on developing the technical skills of the operators is one of the main priorities of Moda-Tim.
